We all remember our time on Kamino
The birthing pods...the education systems, our caretakers....the simulations....

Jackal's eyes popped open the second he heard the distant boom of a turbolaser shot hitting its mark. Normally this wouldn't affect him, but after the last skirmish, he's been on edge. That was 2 cycles ago, but this time it felt different. This time it felt like an alarm to his subconscious...like his deployment on Felucia was about to be cut short, and not in a good way. His communicator started pinging "b-bing, b-bing, b-bing...." He sat up, grabbed his helmet, and tapped the answer button. "Jackal" he croaks out with a raspy morning voice. The Colonel starts blurting out a string of words, something about his assistance is needed 6 klicks out, gather his Rangers and hit the trail....

......Hours pass by. Jackal grabbed his men, briefed them on the LAAT, got dropped off 2 klicks away from the operation. He did his job, so did his men, but little did he know that he lead them into a death trap. Even with cloaks, stealth weapons, and the best training he can offer his men, it wasn't enough for the hundreds of B1s, B2s, Destroyers, and AATs strewn across the compound. His boys were ripped apart within a matter of minutes, all of them knowing the mission comes first. With a blaster bolt wound to the thigh, one to the lower chest, and a detonator in hand, Jackal stands outside the compound, droids still scouring for him. He watches the walking hunks of death and destruction dragging his brothers' lifeless bodies to the center of the courtyard. He presses the detonator, with an orange inferno being reflected across his visor. The Lieutenant drops the detonator, and then his helmet as he watches everyone he's ever learned to love in the Galaxy get reduced to ash. After what feels like an eternity, he grabs his helmet, and proceeds to the LAAT pickup point a klick Northwest of his location.
